Azeri FM: Time has come for Palestine to join UN
Azerbaijan’s foreign minister told the United Nations on Tuesday that "the time has come" for Palestine to be fully represented at the UN.
"Azerbaijan reaffirms its adherence to the position expressed by the majority of the UN member states," Elmar Mammadyarov said in his speech at the UN General Assembly. "We reiterate our long-standing solidarity with the people and leadership of Palestine and believe that the time has come to reach a breakthrough on this long-standing and very important issue."
