Azerbaijan, India hold political consultations
The political consultations between the Azerbaijan and Indian foreign ministries were held on Friday. The Azerbaijan delegation was led by the Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and the delegation of India was headed by Sanjay Singh, State Secretary (East) of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), according to the press service of the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry.
The meeting focused on the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and India in different areas including trade, education and energy and development of interparliamentary ties.
The sides also discussed organization of the first meeting of the Azerbaijan-India intergovernmental committee, reciprocal days of culture, film festivals and business forums.
