Azeri speaker to hold talks in Turkey
An Azerbaijani delegation led by Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov will visit Turkey on September 21-23, parliament spokesman Akif Tavakkuloglu told media.
The 10-people-strong delegation is due to meet with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek as well as members of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
Tavakkuloglu said the Azerbaijani MPs will exchange views on prospects of bilateral relations and ways of resolving regional conflicts.
The MPs will visit the Heydar Aliyev Park in Ankara and become familiar with the activity of the Heydar Aliyev School, both named after Azerbaijan’s former president.
