University vice principal murdered in Baku
Vice principal of an Azerbaijani university was murdered on Friday morning.
The body of 69-year-old Tariyel Ahmadov, privately owned Tefekkur University’s vice principal for scientific affairs, was found in a covered stadium in the Yasamal district of Baku.
According to the district prosecutor’s office, a preliminary examination revealed that Ahmadov died of head injuries.
Motives of the crime and its perpetrators are yet unknown.
Ahmadov’s family members say the man exercised at the stadium every morning.
