‘Bomb’ found in Azeri’s bag at Russian airport
Khabarovsk – Five flights were suspended from the airport in the Russian city of Khabarovsk on Wednesday after law enforcers were informed about an explosive hidden in an Azerbaijani citizen’s hand bag, Russian media reported.
The passenger, when asked during check-in what was the explosive-like item he was carrying, said it was a bomb given to him by police officers to examine the vigilance of the airport’s security officers. After most of the passengers were evacuated to safety, mine searchers found a cartridge box and over 2 kg of small shot bullets in the bag.
The case is under investigation.
