Azerbaijan, WHO to sign co-op agreement next week
BAKU – Azerbaijan and World Health Organization’s (WHO) regional bureau for Europe will sign a one-year cooperation agreement next week, WHO Regional Director for Europe Zsuzsanna Jakab said on a visit to Baku Friday.
Jakab will co-sign the document with Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev on the sidelines of a four-day session of the bureau that begins in Baku on Monday.
The WHO meeting is to be joined by about 350 representatives of 53 countries. WHO Director-General Margaret Chan will attend as well.
Discussions will include key social issues in Azerbaijan.
