Azeri President meets newly appointed OSCE envoy
Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has received new head of the OSCE Office in Baku, Ambassador Koray Targay on Wednesday, Trend reported.
President Aliyev congratulated Mr. Targay on his appointment and wished him successes in his activities.
Mr. Aliyev praised former head of the OSCE Office, Mr. Bilge Cankorel’s tenure, saying it marked development of the Office’s relations with relevant agencies in Azerbaijan.
Ambassador Targay said he would spare no efforts to contribute to developing the cooperation between the OSCE and Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani President and the head of the OSCE Office in Baku exchanged views on current state and prospects for the cooperation between the country and the organization.
