Azeri leader hosts China`s deputy commerce minister
BAKU – Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received on Monday China`s Vice-Minister for Commerce, co-chair of the Azerbaijan-China intergovernmental trade-economic cooperation commission Zhong Shan.
The president expressed satisfaction with development of China-Azerbaijan relationship in all fields. President Aliyev underlined successfully developing political ties between the two countries, adding cooperation within international organizations is also commendable.
On the economic ties, the Azerbaijani leader underscored there is good potential for development of cooperation in implementation of energy, agriculture, tourism and infrastructure projects.
He pointed out regular conduct of meetings of the Azerbaijan-China intergovernmental trade-economic cooperation commission is important for discussing issues related to expansion of bilateral ties.
Zhong Shan said he is impressed with economic boom in the country. He underlined Azerbaijan is an important partner for China, adding his country is keen on investing in various fields including the non-oil sector of Azerbaijan.
