Mexico to host Azerbaijan friendship park
BAKU – Mexico-Azerbaijan Friendship Park will be built in Mexico, according to an agreement signed by Azerbaijani Ambassador Ilgar Mukhtarov with Mayor of Mexico City Marcelo Ebrard, the Azerbaijani embassy told AssA-Irada.
The ambassador thanked the city’s officials for their support and highlighted the importance of the project to develop cultural and political relations between the two countries.
Mukhtarov spoke of prospects for political, economic, cultural and tourism cooperation between Azerbaijan and Mexico.
He also invited the mayor to pay a visit to Azerbaijan.
Ebrard praised the expansion of cultural relations and noted the importance of implementing larger joint projects in the future.
