EU dismisses reports on planned opening of Karabakh mission
BAKU – The European Union has dismissed Armenian media reports on the planned opening in Brussels this year of a representation of Nagorno Karabakh, an occupied Azerbaijani region where ethnic Armenians are running a self-proclaimed republic.
Head of the EU delegation to Azerbaijan, Roland Kobia, told the press Thursday that there has been no official information to that end, adding that even if such a representation is opened, it will not be formally registered by the EU.
