Emergency medical aid on Azeri highways
BAKU – An emergency medical care service was launched on highways in Azerbaijan on Wednesday, Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov has said.
Heydarov told journalists that the ministry’s service will provide first aid to those injured in accidents.
"There are no medical care units in the vicinity of many highways in Azerbaijan," he said. "Therefore, it takes time for an ambulance to arrive at the accident site, which often results in the injured people’s death."
