BAKU – Implantologists from a slew of countries met in Azerbaijani capital May 6-8 for an international conference aiming to increase the knowledge and skills of local doctors.

A number of companies displayed their cutting edge technologies during an exhibition held as part of the fourth International Caspian Conference.

Jabbar Hasanov, head of the Azerbaijan Implantologists Public Union, said in his remarks that the goal of the biennial conference was to improve awareness in the field of implantology by making a contribution to the development of dentistry in Azerbaijan.

Hasanov said 450 experts from 17 countries joined the conference, which was organized by the Public Union. The biggest number of participants are from Turkey, with 19 of the 42 reports delivered by Turkish implantologists.

The event was sponsored by MIS, CaspiDent, Lacalut, ForestaDent and Siona companies.
