South Africa’s arms sales to Azerbaijan top $17m in 2010
BAKU – The South African Republic exported military goods totaling over $17.6 million to Azerbaijan in 2010, its agency in charge of arms sales said.
The National Conventional Arms Control Committee did not elaborate which military goods were exported.
In 2009, South African companies’ arms sales to the South Caucasus republic exceeded $22.5 million, with most of the amount made up by 10 Marauder combat machines manufactured by Paramount Group.
