Azeri president meets Lithuanian interior minister
BAKU – Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met Wednesday Lithuanian delegation led by Interior Minister Raimundas Palaitis.
President Aliyev said bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania was developing successfully, and underlined the necessity of expansion of them in all fields.
He underscored the necessity of establishment of good relations between the two countries` relevant bodies and expressed hope the Lithuanian minister`s visit would be successful and fruitful.
Minister Palaitis said Azerbaijan was developing very successfully. He particularly underscored the economic growth in Azerbaijan in spite of the financial crisis around the world.
Palaitis said his country was interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in various fields.
