Azercell gets ‘best PR service’ award
BAKU – Azerbaijan’s leading cellular operator Azercell has been conferred with an award for "best public relations service" in 2010 marking the company’s consistent efforts to provide top quality PR services to its customers.
PR and press services of 52 government agencies, non-profit organizations, NGOs and businesses contested the title, which is granted in various nominations based on a public opinion poll to the bidders that have established the closest ties with the public.
Azercell has received the award for several consecutive years due to its particular focus on public relations. The company, which is committed to transparency, timely informs the media about its operations. For this reason, Ulviyya Hasanzadeh, the head of Azercell’s corporate communications unit, was named a runner-up for the PR News Online agency’s PR People Awards last year.
