The presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan on October
15, the Central Election Commission (CEC) chairman said.
Mazahir Panahov told reporters on Monday that under the country's Constitution, presidential elections are held on the third Wednesday of October. The registration of candidates will start 120 days before election day.
According to preliminary data, over 4.834 million people will have the right to cast their ballots. 52% of the voters are women and 44% men. 55,000 people have attained suffrage this year.
