Baku-Belgrade flight to open
BAKU – A direct flight from Baku to Belgrade is expected to open in the near future, head of the Serbia-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce, Mirko Barac, has said.
"We will meet with executives of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC [state airline AzAL] to discuss opening a Baku-Belgrade flight later today," Barac said on Friday.
"To ensure economic viability, a Baku-Belgrade-Zurich flight will open first, which, in turn, will lead to an increase in the inflow of passengers."
Barac noted that the opening of the flight will boost bilateral tourism cooperation.
