OSCE assembly session to honor deceased Azeri ambassador
BAKU – The winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which begins on Thursday in Vienna, will open with a moment of silence to honor the life and diplomatic work of the Azerbaijani ambassador to Vienna, Fuad Ismayilov, who died the day before.
OSCE PA President Petros Efthymiou expressed his condolences on this occasion. "On behalf of the Parliamentary Assembly I express my deep condolences to the family and colleagues of His Excellency Fuad Ismayilov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the OSCE. We in the OSCE community were shocked to hear this sad news," Efthymiou said.
Ambassador Ismayilov passed away last night following a serious illness.
