Bus smokers to be fined in Azerbaijan
BAKU – People smoking on buses in Azerbaijan will be fined, according to the changes made to the country’s laws Friday.
Under the amendments approved in parliament, drivers and passengers who smoke on buses will face fines worth 40 to 50 manats (up to $62).
Bus drivers charging people more than the designated fare will have to pay a fine of the same amount.
