Azeri ambassador presents credentials to Sultan of Brunei
BAKU – Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Malaysia Tahir Karimov who has got concurrent accreditation to the State of Brunei Darussalam has presented his credentials to Sultan of Brunei Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzaddin Waddaulah.
The Sultan of Brunei asked Karimov to deliver his best greetings to President Ilham Aliyev and wished prosperity to the people of Azerbaijan.
Waddaulah also expressed willingness to arrive in Azerbaijan.
The Azeri ambassador spoke of Azerbaijan-Brunei relations. He stressed the necessity of expanding cooperation between the two countries in various fields. The ambassador said development of economic and cultural relations is the main goal to achieve.
Karimov also met with Bruneian of Foreign and Trade Minister Mohamed Bolkiah. The ambassador briefed the minister on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
