PACE rapporteurs due in Baku Monday
BAKU – The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) co-rapporteurs on Azerbaijan will arrive in the country next Monday.
The four-day visit by Joseph Debono Grech and Pedro Agramunt aims to study Azerbaijan’s compliance with its Council of Europe obligations, and the findings will be further reflected in a report.
Agramunt, a Spanish lawmaker, has told the Baku-based ANS TV channel that the rapporteurs are due to meet with Azerbaijani officials and representatives of the opposition and civil society.
