Man stabs wife, kids to death in Baku
BAKU – A Baku resident has brutally killed his family members after an argument.
Rovshan Mahraliyev, 37, stabbed to death with a kitchen knife his mother, wife and two children, aged four and six, the Prosecutor General’s Office said on Tuesday.
Mahraliyev’s eight-year-old daughter, who escaped from home, told the neighbors about the rampage and they called the police. Police officers rushed to the scene and arrested Mahraliyev.
After killing his family members, the man inflicted himself several stab wounds and was rushed to a hospital.
Investigators have found that Mahraliyev is suffering from mental illness.
