Azercell reaches out to orphanage kids on New Year
BAKU – Azerbaijan’s leading cellular operator Azercell is supporting New Year festivities in Baku for children deprived of parental care.
The event is being held for the first time for kids living in orphanages under the "They are expecting presents too…" project in Park Bulvar, a major shopping mall located in the seaside park of the Azerbaijani capital. The project is unique as anyone is welcome to make their contribution to the children’s New Year festivities. The presents have been hung on three New Year trees placed at the first and second floors of the shopping mall. Azercell Telecom’s employees asked every kid about his or her wishes from Santa Claus this year and further attached the gifts on New Year trees.
Anyone can give presents to these children himself. Kids from orphanages will receive their presents during a New Year party that will be held with Azercell’s support in the Rotunda Room at the Landmark Business Center on December 28.
