Azerbaijan approves make-up of PACE delegation
BAKU – The composition of Azerbaijan’s twelve-people-strong delegation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has been approved.
The main members of the delegation, headed by Samad Seyidov, also include Ali Huseynov, Sabir Hajiyev, Ganira Pashayeva, Rafael Huseynov, and Rovshan Rzayev.
Delegations representing Azerbaijan’s parliament in international organizations are approved by the country’s parliament speaker.
The PACE will hold its winter session in Strasbourg January 24-28. The agenda includes Azerbaijan’s parliamentary poll held in November. The relevant PACE bureau and standing committee will hear a report on the elections prepared by a member of the assembly’s election observation mission.
