Azeri electoral body approves election tallies
BAKU – The Central Election Commission (CEC) on Tuesday approved the results of the November 7 parliamentary elections to submit them to the Constitutional Court for final approval.
"In the 2010 parliamentary elections of Azerbaijan the country achieved incomparable advances in the electoral practices," Mazahir Panahov, the CEC chairman, said at the final meeting.
Azerbaijan held parliamentary elections on November 7. The CEC termed election results in 46 polling stations as invalid.
