Top Azeri court judge’s wife brutally killed
BAKU – The spouse of an Azerbaijani Supreme Court judge Tapdig Mahmudov was brutally killed on Friday.
Natavan Mahmudova, 39, was strangled by unknown individuals who entered the apartment she lived in at around noon, police officials said.
Mahmudova’s child who was returning home from school was the first to learn about the murder. Two suspects have been detained.
Reporters who arrived at the scene were neither briefed about the crime nor allowed to tape.
