Azeri pilgrims injured in Iraq blast
BAGHDAD – Six Azerbaijanis were injured after an explosion hit a bus carrying pilgrims in Iraq, Iran’s semi-official ISNA news agency reported quoting an Iraqi clerical body.
Though reports earlier said the injured people were citizens of Iran, it was later ascertained that all of them are Azerbaijani nationals.
The pilgrims were hospitalized in the town of Kazimain and are said to be in grave condition.
