Japanese ambassador’s tenure to end shortly
BAKU – The tenure of Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Masamitsu Oki has expired. He is due to leave Baku on October 8.
Shortly thereafter, the newly appointed ambassador is expected to arrive in the country.
Shusuke Watanabe, 60, consul general in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia, will take up the post.
