Italian senator calls to boost ties with Azerbaijan
BAKU – A visiting Italian senator on Friday called for closer ties between the parliaments of Azerbaijan and Italy.
An Italian parliamentary delegation headed by Senate European Policy Committee Chairman, Rosanna Boldi, who also chairs the Azerbaijan-Italy parliamentary friendship group, arrived in Baku for a two-day official visit.
"The visit aims at strengthening the friendly relations between the Italian and Azerbaijani parliaments," Boldi was quoted as saying.
