Official accuses Armenians of provocations
Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Living
Abroad has accused Armenians of provocations against the
Azerbaijani Diaspora.
"The work done by the Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora organizations of late is of serious concern for Armenians, and they are trying to block this activity outrageously and by all means. They don't even refrain from provocations against activists of the Azerbaijani Diaspora organizations," Nazim Ibrahimov told a news conference Friday.
Ibrahimov said such actions by Armenians indicated that these organizations were on the right path. As an example of this he indicated the latest development involving his first deputy Valeh Hajiyev. After giving an interview to a German TV channel about the Khojaly massacre perpetrated by Armenians in 1992, he faced provocations by Armenians.
"There are other such facts as well, and all of them are currently under scrutiny," the committee chairman said.
