Russian president gets Azeri university’s honorary title
BAKU – Russian President Dmitry Medvedev visited the Baku State University (BSU) on Friday where he was awarded an honorary doctor diploma.
The BSU’s rector, MP Abel Maharramov spoke of the Russian president’s life and activities. He also highlighted the Russia-Azerbaijan educational cooperation.
Maharramov then read out the decision of the BSU’s Supreme Scientific Council to name the Russian leader an honorary doctor.
President Medvedev made a speech at the ceremony.
