Azeri private university shut down
BAKU – Azerbaijan’s Education Ministry has decided to halt the activity of the previately owned Azerbaijan International University.
The university had applied for an extension of its license, but the commission in charge rejected the application, the ministry said.
The decision was explained by problems with teaching, unlawful student transfers and other shortfalls.
