Britan’s Wood Group distorts Azeri territory
BAKU - British energy services firm Wood Group that is involved in oil projects in Azerbaijan and plans to expand its operations in the country has distorted Azerbaijan’s territory on its website, indicating its part as Armenia’s land.
The Middle East section of a map containing the list of countries where Wood Group is doing business indicated the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic as part of Armenia.
Azerbaijan’s ancient enclave of Nakhchivan is geographically separated from the rest of the country by Armenia, which occupies 20 percent of the neighboring South Caucasus republic’s territory in defiance of international law.
