Updated Electoral Code published in Azerbaijan
BAKU – New version of the Electoral Code of Azerbaijan has been published, the Central Election Commission (CEC) said.
The new version contains latest amendments and addenda made by the Azerbaijan parliament.
CEC distributed the Electoral Code among the chairmen of the local election commissions. The Code’s copies are delivered now to the polling stations.
On June 18, the parliament of Azerbaijan adopted amendments to the country’s Electoral Code. On July 14, President Ilham Aliyev issued an order for implementation of the law on amendments to the Electoral Code.
