Azeri defense chief meets Garabagh negotiators
BAKU - Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev met the OSCE Minsk
Group co-chairs brokering the settlement to the Armenia-Azerbaijan
conflict over Upper (Nagorno) Garabagh on Monday.
Minister Abiyev noted for peaceful settlement of the Garabagh conflict Armenia should withdraw its troops from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan. The minister said other way of solution of the conflict would cause serious problems in the region.
Abiyev stressed necessity of making effective efforts by co-chair states to stop occupant policy of the aggressor.
