High-speed railway track to link Baku, Tbilisi
A high-speed rail line between Azerbaijan and Georgia will be
constructed in the future, Deputy Transport Minister Musa Panahov
said.
Panahov told reporters that he Azerbaijani side was studyng South Korea's experience in his area. Regular and subwayype carriages will be used for ransportation.
According to preliminary estimates, $3.5 billion is required for the implementation of the project. Trains will run at 160 to 200 kilometers an hour.
