Azeri region’s deputy prosecutor sacked
Deputy prosecutor of Azerbaijan’s Goranboy region has been
dismissed.
Ramiz Guliyev was drunk while driving his car. He is said to have used foul language and made threats against some citizens, the Prosecutor General's Office said.
Thus, Guliyev committed acts incompatible with the position held in the prosecutor’s office. As a result, the requirements of the Code of the Azerbaijani prosecution employees' ethics was violated.
Guliyev was dismissed from his post by a June 4 order of the Prosecutor General.*
