Procter & Gamble joins Azercell’s healthcare initiative
Procter & Gamble has joined a healthcare initiative of Azerbaijan’s
leading cellular operator Azercell.
According to Azercell, the Mobile Dental Clinic was launched in Azerbaijan last December with the company’s support. The clinic has been providing medical care in children’s homes both in the capital Baku and in the country’s regions.
Procter & Gamble will be supporting the project by providing the best supplies for dental care to children. Moreover, the company will present all children receiving medical care with Oral B tooth-brush and Blend-a-med toothpaste.
Considering that 90 percent of orphanages in Azerbaijan lack separate dental facilities, Azercell has provided the Mobile Dental Clinic with the most up-to-date medical equipment. Having visited orphanages across the country, the mobile clinic will also reach out to the low-income families in Azerbaijani regions.*
