Nine prosecutors fired
Nine officers have been barred from prosecution bodies last year,
Azerbaijani Prosecutor-General Zakir Garalov said.
52 employees were punished in 2007 for committing violations of law, with three of them deprived of special ranks, he told a broad meeting of the Prosecutor-General's Office.
Garalov said 17 officers of the Baku Prosecutor's Office were punished for giving way to irregularities, including four who were estranged from prosecution bodies.
