Turkey’s Davutoglu meets Clinton in Washington
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has met with US
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington.
In remarks before the meeting, Clinton said she was "very pleased
to welcome back once again to the State Department someone who is
not only a colleague but has become a friend over the last
year."
Clinton said there were "so many important issues to discuss with
Turkey, and the foreign minister is always available and always
willing to exchange views and to try to search for solutions to
problems. And we have a very strong bilateral relationship that is
getting even stronger."*
