Turkish, Azeri FMs talk over phone

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu had a phone conversation in the run-up to Turkish Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioglu's Baku visit, TRT Russian reported.
Davutoglu spoke to Mammadyarov about the outcomes of Siniroglu's recent Armenia visit aimed to address the issues on the upcoming meeting between Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian in Washington.
Erdogan will leave for the U.S. next week to attend a summit on nuclear security, which will also be attended by Sarkisian.
Davutoglu also informed his Azerbaijani counterpart that an emphasis was placed on the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict during Erdogan's recent meeting with the president of France, which co-chairs the mediating OSCE Minsk Group.
Armenia Today news agency reported, referring to the Turkish media, that Erdogan and Sarkisian might sign in the U.S. "a roadmap" on endorsing the two countries’ accords on normalizing bilateral relations signed in October 2009. The document will set a specific time frame for ratifying the normalization protocols.
During this period, it is not ruled out that an agreement will be reached on a phased withdrawal of the Armenian occupying forces from the Azerbaijani territory, which would signal considerable progress in resolving the Upper Garabagh conflict.
While in Washington, Davutoglu is also expected to meet with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.*
