Aliyev to visit Ukraine in 2010: embassy
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is scheduled to pay an official
visit to Ukraine in the second half of 2010, according to Dmitri
Bozhok, the adviser for the Ukrainian embassy in Baku.
Bozhok told a press conference Monday that preparations for the visit were discussed in Moscow two days ago by the two countries’ Foreign Ministers, Konstantin Grishchenko and Elmar Mammadyarov.
The two ministers also exchanged views on issues to be tabled by the Azerbaijani-Ukrainian inter-governmental commission during its meeting in Kyiv this year, Bozhok said. The adviser added that one of the key issues to be discussed by the commission is establishing a joint venture manufacturing oil and gas equipment.*
