Another school has been commissioned in Gazakh region. The new building was constructed at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation as part of the "New School for a Renewing Azerbaijan" project.

The two-story secondary school named after Shahnabat Nasibova in Sarivalli village is designed for 220 pupils.

The former school built in 1966 was in an unusable condition. There are 14 classrooms in the new school, including laboratories in physics, chemistry, biology, classrooms in computer science, military affairs, medicine, sports halls and so on.

The school is fully provided with the necessary furniture and equipment, and subject rooms and laboratories are equipped with visual aids.

"The old school didn’t have good conditions for studying, there was no heating system. However, the new school, along with the heating system, also have subject rooms, a sports hall, a library, and new equipment," Lamiya Gojayeva, the 11th-grade pupil, said.

The school teacher Leyli Sariyeva noted that the village residents long dreamed of building a new school there.

Parents and school children expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the new school that meets modern requirements.

"My son Karim and daughter Nazanin this year went to the first grade. Inshallah, they will successfully complete the school year in such a wonderful school. I express my gratitude to everyone who contributed to this work," Afat Aliyeva, the wife of martyr Emil Karimov, said.

Earlier, a new building of the secondary school No 1 was constructed in Goranboy region.

The previous building of the school was constructed back in 1937 and had 40 classrooms. However, the school building eventually became unusable.

So, a new building for 700 schoolchildren was built at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation within the "New School for a Renewing Azerbaijan" project.

The new three-storey school building is provided with the necessary furniture and equipment. Classrooms and laboratories are equipped with visual aids.

The school building has classrooms, physics, chemistry, biology laboratories, computer science, military training and medical rooms, labor training rooms for girls and boys, a library, a dining room, an assembly hall and a gym. Landscaping and landscaping work has been carried out in the yard as well.
