Chilling murder committed in Baku
A horrible crime has been committed in Baku, with a woman beheading
her sister, law enforcement officials said.
The killing took place on Thursday evening. Laura Gasymova, 40, chopped off her 44-year-old sister Nargiz Gasymova’s head with an axe. She then sliced her body into pieces, put them in a sack and trashed the body parts.
The woman has already been detained. She has admitted in her testimony that the crime had been perpetrated over cigarettes. Thus, Laura had asked her sister for a cigarette, but the latter refused to give it to her.
Both women are said to be mentally ill.*
