Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with President of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Borge Brende, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting Brende invited Mammadyarov to the WEF on Middle East and North Africa, to be held in Jordan on April 6-7, 2019.
In turn, Mammadyarov shared the objectives of his Geneva visit, as well as informed Brende about hosting the 18th Summit of Heads of States and Governments of the Non-Aligned Movement on October 21-26, 2019 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Mammadyarov updated Brende about the current negotiation process on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The views on the regional issues and the topics included in the international agenda were exchanged during the meeting.
