Protecting rights of entrepreneurs in focus

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Mutual Understanding on cooperation and mutual activities in the field of protecting the rights of entrepreneurs between the General Directorate for Combating Corruption under the General Prosecutor and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency was held on Tuesday.
Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Main Department Kamran Aliyev stressed the significance of the signed memorandum, said that its signing plays an invaluable role both in identifying and investigating corruption offenses that hinder the development of entrepreneurship, and in the context of other areas of cooperation. The agreement will serve the interests of society and of the state, he noted.
He went on to say that the joint work, which will be adjusted to the level of requirements established by law in this important area, will make an important contribution to the fulfillment of the instructions given by the head of state.
It is very gratifying that a favorable legal ground and a healthy economic environment are being created in the country, covering such important components as systematic measures that stimulate the development of small and medium business, liberalization of state regulation and institutionalization of relations between the state and entrepreneurs, the chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency Orhan Mammadov stated.
Mammadov stressed that cooperation with the General Directorate and other relevant state bodies in the areas of supporting the development of small and medium-sized businesses, providing them with appropriate services, and suppressing any offenses that may arise during the implementation of regulation and coordination in this area by government bodies will serve to develop this spheres.
