Heydar Aliyev Foundation rebuilds church
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation reconstructed the St.
Maria Church in Baku as part of the project "Azerbaijan - address
of tolerance", implemented jointly with the Roman Catholic
religious community, the Foundation said.
Under the support of the Foundation, acoustical ceiling was replaced with art design and the facade of the building was changed.
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation, which pays particular attention to the restoration of religious and historical monuments, began its reconstruction in 2006.
