Baku, Tbilisi to sign three papers during Saakashvili`s visit
Baku and Tbilisi are to sign three documents during
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili`s visit to Azerbaijan
scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday.
Two of the papers are protocols, the neighboring country`s media reported. One of them envisions amending the inter-governmental agreement on free trade signed in March 1996, while the other one - introducing amendments to the air transport deal inked by the two governments. One more document is an agreement on protecting intellectual property.
Saakashvili will be accompanied during his visit by a delegation of senior Georgian officials including Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze and Energy Minister Aleksandr Khetaguri. The parties will focus in their discussions on energy issues and the situation in the volatile region.
