American former astronaut Heide Stefanyshyn-Piper to visit Azerbaijan

American former astronaut Heide Stefanyshyn-Piper will visit Azerbaijan, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan reported.
"The U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan is pleased to sponsor U.S. Navy Captain and former NASA astronaut Heide Stefanyshyn-Piper’s visit to Azerbaijan from December 10-12, 2017. Captain Piper will share her story with Azerbaijanis, talking about her career and opportunities, especially for young women, in the science and math fields. Captain Piper visited American Corner in Kurdemir, will visit the American Centers in Baku and meet with local young people, hold presentations at the Azerbaijan Armed Forces War College, and speak at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, ADA University, the Baku Engineering University and the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry Academy.
