Baku airport to scale down overnight flights
The Heydar Aliyev International Airport of Baku will
apply restrictions on overnight flights from July 2, the spokesman
for the state airline AzAL has said.
Maharram Safarli told the Lider TV channel that the step was being taken as part of efforts to properly ensure social security of citizens and normal conditions for their recreation in the summer.
The schedule of the Baku airport will change accordingly. Work hours will run from 7 a.m. until midnight. From midnight until 7 a.m., the airport will be shut down for incoming airplanes. Only planes carrying out official, sanitary, aid and rescue flights and those requesting emergency landing over inclement weather will be landing at the airport in this timeframe.
